Product Review: Ailus Lasting Smooth Powder Foundation

Hey you, gorgeous lady :)

I have another sample product from Japan, this is already my 5th sample from Cosmeria :) Every package that I receive from this site is special to me, it is like a gift that makes me thrilled and excited to open it. Cosmeria never fails to make me smile.

So the product that I received was a powder foundation,  Ailus lasting smooth powder foundation. Here are my thoughts about this great product after using it for 2 weeks:

Packaging: Pink and dark brown is the theme color of the container,  looks simple but pretty. Also, it is made of plastic, durable enough for everyday use. What i loved about the packaging is the mirror, big enough and gives a clear sight of my face. The foundation comes with a sponge and has a separate compartment which is very hygienic.
For the sponge, I find it softer than the sponges that i've used before. The softness tends to pick up more powder that's why I use kabuki brush in applying this foundation.
Rating: 4 out of 5

Formulation: According to the website, this foundie is composed of Resilient roller powder, vitamin E and hyaluronic acid. Sounds good because it's packed with vitamins that are good for the skin and I cant see any chemicals from the list. I got curious with the "resilient roller powder thing" so I did a little research and found out that the flexible roller powder covers the skin uniformly, including uneven areas and the movement of facial expressions, leaving a smooth, perfectly even finish.

Powder swatch: Left bare skin, Right with Ailus powder foundation

Shade comparison: Left Maybelline White superfresh in Honey, Right Ailus foundation in Light Pink Beige

The foundation: I got the shade Light pink beige which has a pinkish undertone. Honestly, I prefer foundations that has yellow undertone to hide the redness on some parts of my face but when I tried this, I was amazed because the pinkness didn't add to the redness of my skin, instead it was able to conceal red patches. For the texture, it's very fine and runs smooth on my skin. This also smells like orange, mild and isn't overpowering.

Bare face+Ailus lasting smooth powder foundation. Nevermind the background :)

Performance: At first, I thought that the shade Light pink beige  would be too light for me because I have medium skintone. But, I was wrong, it looks just right on my face. I didn't looked like a ghost. It's also lightweight, doesn't feel heavy to my skin and looks smooth. The coverage was light, it was able to cover some redness on my face but the pimple/dark marks were still visible. What I admire about this foundie is the spf content, spf 19 PA + good enough for the tropical climate here in the Philippines. I had foundations before and some didn't have spf. Sun protection to me is a must because I don't want my skin to get damaged from the harsh rays of the sun. For the staying power, I retouched after 3 hours. I easily oil up and the mattifying effect is not that superb, maybe because of the hyaluronic acid added to this powder which moisturizes the skin, preventing dryness and roughness. I re-apply 2-3 times a day.
Rating: 4 out of 5

Final Verdict: If you're one of the gals who is contented with light to medium coverage of powder, silky smooth skin while protecting your skin from the harsh rays of the sun, this foundation would be a great addition to your make-up pouch. This is also packed with Vit.E and Hyaluronic acid to provide nutrition to your skin. However, if you have oily to very oily skin, you have to apply this frequently to keep your skin mattified.

Product Review: A.M.A All in One Skin Gel Essence

Hello pretties, here I am again to review another sample product from Cosmeria.

I got this from the Summer event giveaway, very lucky to avail a sample because all of the in stock products are already out of stock after 5 to 10 seconds.

This product arrived two weeks ago and I used it immediately. It's name is AMA All in one gel essence. During the event, there were 100 samples up for grabs but you can only avail of one sample to give way to other Cosmeriarers.
What made me choose this one is the "All in One" label. I am the kind of person who is not used to applying a lot of face prods because its time consuming and I feel its "too much". So, this all in one essence is perfect for me.

Here are my thoughts after using this essence for two weeks.

Packaging:
The container is made of hard plastic and is sturdy enough for everyday use. It comes with a pump that dispenses just the right amount of gel essence. The cap is colorless and keeps the pump protected from bacteria. Very hygienic.
Rating: 5 out of 5

Formulation: I referred to the website because the box did not have any english translation of the ingredients. As what I've read, the gel essence is composed of for ( Wrinkles) Inirain-Roifashiru, (texture) Cure Berry extract, (moisture and circulation) armature nozzle extract, (elasticity) penetration collagen type (Hari elasticity) hydrolyzed collagen, (whitening, elasticity) oil-soluble vitamins A, (circulation promotion) natural vitamin E, (whitening) absorption vitamin C. I cant see any chemicals on the list which is a thumbs up.
Rating: 5 out of 5

The gel essence:
The moment I applied the gel on my face, I quickly noticed the scent. Smells like beer/alcoholic drink but it is not that overpowering so it's Ok. Moving on, I cannot say that it's colorless. As you can see on the attached pic, it's a bit cloudy. For the consistency, it's like of other gel creams. It turned to liquid when it touched my face and was easily absorbed.
Content: 50 ml I think this will last for 2 to 3 months because I just use this during night time.
Rating: 5 out of 5

My face after using the product :)

Performance:
Using it for two weeks gave me soft, plump and supple skin. Did not gave me redness which means this is ok for sensitive skin. Before, I had little bumps that is rough to touch and very unsightly. This gave me smoothness and the bumps were significantly reduced. While for the whitening effect, I can't see any drastic result. Maybe I should give this a month or two to see its whitening claim.
Rating: 4 out of 5

Final verdict:
This is a great product for those gals who are suffering with dryness and aging skin. Perfect for busy people who does'nt have time to use a lot of skincare products. If you have oily skin, no problem because this gel is easily absorbed. Highly recommended :)

Product Review: Miss Joange Soeur de Bouquet hair oil

Greetings pretty ladies :)

This is the third sample I received from Cosmeria and it's a hair care product. This is a must in my daily hair regimen. My stand to this gorgeous product is detailed below:

Living here in the Philippines with the scorching heat of the sun made my hair dry. I also had my hair rebonded which in the long run, resulted my tresses to be brittle and had a lot of split ends. I always use hair oil to keep my hair moisturized and to gradually heal the damages I acquired. I recently ran out of the oil that I was using then I knew that this would be the perfect time to test the product.

Looks expensive, just WOW

Packaging: The product looks expensive! I thought that this oil is housed in a glass material by looking at the picture but when it arrived, I realized it was made of plastic. I like it more because plastic is unbreakable and lighter than glass. While the cap looks exquisite! Just like the cap of expensive perfumes. It also comes with a pump that dispenses just the right amount of oil.
Rating: 5 out of 5

Ingredients: The hair oil is composed of some chemicals and
baobab oil, yuzu oil, sunflower oil, and olive oil, which have been certified as organic.
Complete list of ingredients:
(From the website, again no English translation at the back of the product)
Cyclopentasiloxane, dimethiconol, alkyl benzoic acid (C12-15), perfume, amber extract, baobab seed oil, sunflower seed oil, olive oil, citron seed oil, tocopherol, ascorbyl palmitate, rosemary leaf extract, methoxy cinnamic acid-ethylhexyl, t- butylmethoxydibenzoylmethane

Rating: 4 out of 5

The oil: The oil is colorless and smells so good! It's like a mixture of fragrant flowers with the twist of freshness of fruits. The scent isn't overpowering, just mild but still fragrant. For the consistency, it is a bit viscous which is normal for hair coats. Its content/volume is 120 ml, I am sure this will last for a month.
Rating: 5 out of 5

I feel like a commercial model Lol

Performance: I am now on my 6th day of using this oil. After I air dry my hair I dispense 3 pumps because I have long hair (waist length) I really enjoy the scent when I rub the oil to my tresses. It was able to coat every strand and I always make sure to put more oil to the tips/dehydrated parts of hair. Right after that, my hair became soft, shiny and very manageable. I checked my hair after 3 hours and I observed my hair came back to being coarse and I dry and the scent started to fade. I applied one pump of oil to moisturize it again.
Rating: 4 out of 5

Final verdict: This product is great when it comes to scent and packaging. The smell is not overpowering and lingers for some time. While the container looks expensive and sturdy enough for everyday use. However, for the performance I could say that it was not able to moisturize my hair for a long time, I have to re-apply it to rehydrate my tresses.
