Hey you, gorgeous lady :)
I have another sample product from Japan, this is already my 5th sample from Cosmeria :) Every package that I receive from this site is special to me, it is like a gift that makes me thrilled and excited to open it. Cosmeria never fails to make me smile.
So the product that I received was a powder foundation, Ailus lasting smooth powder foundation. Here are my thoughts about this great product after using it for 2 weeks:
Packaging: Pink and dark brown is the theme color of the container, looks simple but pretty. Also, it is made of plastic, durable enough for everyday use. What i loved about the packaging is the mirror, big enough and gives a clear sight of my face. The foundation comes with a sponge and has a separate compartment which is very hygienic.
For the sponge, I find it softer than the sponges that i've used before. The softness tends to pick up more powder that's why I use kabuki brush in applying this foundation.

Formulation: According to the website, this foundie is composed of Resilient roller powder, vitamin E and hyaluronic acid. Sounds good because it's packed with vitamins that are good for the skin and I cant see any chemicals from the list. I got curious with the "resilient roller powder thing" so I did a little research and found out that the flexible roller powder covers the skin uniformly, including uneven areas and the movement of facial expressions, leaving a smooth, perfectly even finish.

| Shade comparison: Left Maybelline White superfresh in Honey, Right Ailus foundation in Light Pink Beige |
The foundation: I got the shade Light pink beige which has a pinkish undertone. Honestly, I prefer foundations that has yellow undertone to hide the redness on some parts of my face but when I tried this, I was amazed because the pinkness didn't add to the redness of my skin, instead it was able to conceal red patches. For the texture, it's very fine and runs smooth on my skin. This also smells like orange, mild and isn't overpowering.

Performance: At first, I thought that the shade Light pink beige would be too light for me because I have medium skintone. But, I was wrong, it looks just right on my face. I didn't looked like a ghost. It's also lightweight, doesn't feel heavy to my skin and looks smooth. The coverage was light, it was able to cover some redness on my face but the pimple/dark marks were still visible. What I admire about this foundie is the spf content, spf 19 PA + good enough for the tropical climate here in the Philippines. I had foundations before and some didn't have spf. Sun protection to me is a must because I don't want my skin to get damaged from the harsh rays of the sun. For the staying power, I retouched after 3 hours. I easily oil up and the mattifying effect is not that superb, maybe because of the hyaluronic acid added to this powder which moisturizes the skin, preventing dryness and roughness. I re-apply 2-3 times a day.
Rating: 4 out of 5
Final Verdict: If you're one of the gals who is contented with light to medium coverage of powder, silky smooth skin while protecting your skin from the harsh rays of the sun, this foundation would be a great addition to your make-up pouch. This is also packed with Vit.E and Hyaluronic acid to provide nutrition to your skin. However, if you have oily to very oily skin, you have to apply this frequently to keep your skin mattified.
